Wonderful Stay at This Hotel
large rooms comfortable beds complimentary water helpful staff
I appreciated the large rooms with comfortable beds. Everything was clean. Complimentary glass bottles of water were provided daily. I found the candy bowls with chocolates in the lobby enjoyable, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Bellmen efficiently assisted with cabs.
The hallways were oddly freezing, due to AC on full blast.

The breakfast was very good. The hotel decor was also very beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel and rooms felt luxurious.
I paid a premium rate, but there was no one to greet or welcome me. I had to unload all my luggage from the taxi with no help. I had to find a taxi myself when I needed one. The front doormen just stood around and did not acknowledge me or offer help

Really good Hospitality and Perfect Service!
elegant architecture warm atmosphere unpretentious luxury
The architecture and decoration were noticeably elegant. Food and beverages were AMAZING!!! From breakfast to pre-dinner drinks, the atmosphere felt warm. This created a sense of unpretentious luxury.
I noticed slight street noise in the evenings. it did not significantly impact my stay.

The Grand Premier King Room included thoughtful details and spacious layout. A large round table sat in the corner, occupying space and adding character. High ceilings contributed to the sense of openness.

The hotel has a small courtyard that is very inviting. The Chalet Garden is wonderfully romantic. The bar is ranked among the top 30 in the world and provides the best atmosphere.

Breakfast in the Mirror Room provided a step up. The pre fixe menu breakfast in the Holborn dining room has a limited menu. Food was excellent, and there was something for everyone.

small room stained headboard
The location near the tube station proved convenient, EASING access to the city.
The room seemed smaller than I expected, despite a complimentary upgrade. I also noticed some stains on the headboard. It wasn't a HUGE issue, but I expect better in this price range. Mouthwash was missing from the amenities.

warm greeting room upgrade fast elevators filled candy jar
i thought the staff greeted me warmly upon arrival. i got an upgrade to my room. the elevators responded fast, which i found convenient. the staff provided a candy jar on each floor, filled daily.
i noticed the room seemed small, even despite the high ceilings. it did not seem well thought out.
